Core Features

Meetings

Record meetings, review transcripts, and generate meeting notes — without leaving Clauge.

Start recording when Clauge detects a call, or start one manually from the Meetings workspace, then review the transcript and generate notes directly in Clauge.

Start a recording

When Clauge detects a Zoom, Teams, or browser call, a floating widget appears offering meeting notes and recording. Use it to start recording the call.

You can also start a recording manually by clicking New Meeting in the Meetings workspace. Recorded meetings appear in the Meetings list with their date, time, and duration.

Review transcripts

Open a recorded meeting to see its title, date, duration, and transcription status.

Select the Transcript tab to read the recorded conversation with timestamps, or click Copy transcript to copy it.

Generate meeting notes

When a meeting has been transcribed, click Generate notes to create meeting notes from the transcript.

  • Open the Notes tab to view the generated notes.
  • Click Regenerate to generate the notes again.
  • Notes are saved with the meeting.

Meeting settings

Meeting options live under Settings > Voice in the AI Meeting Notes section:

  • Detect calls and offer meeting notes — show the floating widget when a Zoom, Teams, or browser call starts.
  • Stop recording automatically when the call ends — stop recordings started from a detected call when the call finishes.

Recording meetings responsibly protects you and your participants:

  • Tell participants they are being recorded before the recording starts.
  • Consent laws vary by country and state. Some places allow recording when one party consents; many require the consent of everyone on the call. Follow the rules that apply to you and your participants.
  • Avoid recording sensitive conversations — legal, HR, health, or finance — unless your organization has approved it.
  • Turn off call detection under Settings > Voice if you do not want recordings to start automatically.
