Core Features

NoSQL

Browse, query, and manage NoSQL data inside Clauge — no separate database tool needed.

Create connections for stores such as MongoDB and Redis, browse collections and documents, and run queries and aggregations directly in the workspace.

Create a connection

Click New Connection and enter the details for your NoSQL database:

  • Name — a friendly label for the connection.
  • Type — the database engine, such as MongoDB or Redis.
  • Connection String — the connection URI used to connect to the database.
  • Host / Port — the database address and port when using host-and-port configuration.
  • SSL / TLS — encrypt traffic between Clauge and the database when required.
  • Optional Direct connection and SSH tunnel — connect to a specific node or route through an SSH host.

Click Test connection to verify it, then Save connection to add it to your list.

Manage connections

All saved connections are listed in the Connections view, with a search field above the list.

  • Refresh — refresh the connection state.
  • Disconnect — disconnect while keeping the saved connection.
  • Edit — update the connection details when your database configuration changes.
  • Copy Connection String — copy the URI associated with the connection.
  • Delete — remove a saved connection. Deleting a connection does not delete the database or its data.

Browse collections

Select a database and collection to explore its documents in the document view, with pagination to navigate through results.

Query and aggregate

Use the query interface to filter and retrieve documents. Reset the query to return to the default document view, and adjust the query options to control what is retrieved.

When the database supports it, use the aggregation interface to process and analyze documents.

Manage documents

  • Add data to a collection.
  • Edit documents to modify existing data.
  • Delete documents to remove data from a collection.

AI Assistant

In the top-right, click the sparkle icon to open the AI Assistant (tagged NoSQL). Describe what you want in plain language — no query syntax required.

You can use it to:

  • Insert, update, or delete documents (CRUD)
  • Look up or summarize data
  • Ask follow-up prompts; the assistant keeps the current database and collection in mind
