Terminal
Run and manage multiple terminal sessions in one workspace — without switching between separate terminal windows.
Create a profile for each project with its own working directory and shell, then switch between them directly from the Terminal workspace.
Create a terminal profile
Click New Terminal Profile and enter the details:
- Name — a friendly label for the profile.
- Directory — the working directory where the terminal opens.
- Accent Color — an optional color to visually distinguish the profile.
- Shell — the shell for the profile. When not set, Clauge uses the environment's default shell.
Click Create profile to add it to the Profiles list.
Manage profiles
All profiles are listed in the Terminal workspace. Use the search field to find a profile by name, and select one to open its terminal.
Each profile keeps its configured working directory and shell, so you can open the right environment for the task at hand.
Work across multiple terminals
Create a profile per project to switch environments without leaving the workspace.
Select a profile from the sidebar to open its terminal — it starts in the profile's working directory. Use accent colors to tell profiles apart at a glance.
